Joost Bergen has many years of experience provides him with a thorough understanding of corporate Cash & Liquidity Management and Financial Supply Chain activity and the expectations towards the Transaction and Corporate Banking community. This understanding enables him to advise banks in enhancing their value proposition in relation to changing client needs, regulatory changes like Basel III and opportunities technology provides in the payment area and client engagements.

Recently, he is involved in several blockchain/ distributed ledger experiments and initiatives.

Joost has engagements for international business developments with a technology firm providing services to banks and with a m-commerce platform connecting retail and corporate banking through merchants. He is mentor of the Start-up Bootcamp accelerator programs for Fintechs.

Prior Joost worked for a Corporate Finance firm (1996), ABN AMRO Bank (2000) and a Finance & Treasury advisory firm (2007). Joost holds a master of Applied economics of the Radboud University in the Netherlands


In his training capacity Joost develops training curriculums and moderate trainings, both in-house and open enrolment training as well as within the Academic world. Roy Mcpherson is associate of Cash Dynamics. Roy's is an experienced Treasury Professional with a deep understanding of the full trade lifecycle from trade through to settlement. He has experience in FX, MM and Precious Metals having worked for English, Canadian and Swiss banks covering most instruments and their settlement nuances.

Working with a Swallow Tech and their primary client, to assess their cash management capabilities and seek liquidity efficiencies in the Treasury and Retail processing. In this capacity he has been involved in bi-lateral netting, virtual accounts, real time liquidity and electronic trading platforms.

In the past few years his focus has been on assisting clients as they wrestle with the requirements of Basle 2 & 3 specifically around cash and liquidity management. Recently the focus has switch to effective liquidity usage intra- day and adhering to BCBS 248 guidelines. He set up a network of Central Bank and bank clients to extend their knowledge of real time liquidity management and the need to be ready for intra day reporting under Basle 3 and BCBS 248.








Katarina Lodin is associate of Cash Dynamics and has over 30 years expierence in the Financial international business environment and working as a Senior Advisor to Banks and Corporates in the area of Financial supply chain, Working Capital and Risk Management.

Katarina has extensive knowledge of International business and risk management, with specific competencies in client relationship management, Risk Management and all aspects of Trade Finance.


As an advisor she has several years of experience in analyzing in how Exporters and Importers can optimize payments whilst managing risks. In addition she has developed and delivered several interactive training programs and workshops. Katarina is enthusiastic, results-oriented and dedicated, thrives in a challenging environment where motivation and development of people is a pre-requisite to achieving targets.

Over the years Katarina has been responsible for establishing a number of new departments or managing restructures of existing team within various global organisations. For both Corporates, Global Financial Institutions as well as for Developing banks she has developed and delivered several interactive and highly appreciated training programs and workshops to get a good understanding of the corporate financial supply chain and customer requirements from a banking perspective

She has also successfully managed and implemented various Financial supply chain and working capital projects.














Lex van der Wielen is associate of Cash Dynamics and director of The Financial Markets Academy. Lex started his career in the financial markets in 1987 after having been a school teacher in economics for six years. His first position was as a staff member of the Asset & Liability management department of AMRO Bank. After the merger with ABN he soon joined the dealing room as a commercial paper broker and later as corporate dealer. In 1997 he became the head of a local treasury department with ING Bank. In 2000 he decided to move to another direction and started to work with a large training company. In 2006 he was hired by the Dutch State Treasury Agency to implement a market risk management structure and in that same year he decided to start his own training company the Financial Markets Academy.

The Financial Markets Academy (TFMA) a training company that offers a broad variety of financial markets courses. The curriculum covers financial markets and instruments in general, front-office, back-office and risk management.


Lex is the auteur of many books, for instance, ‘Financial Instruments Handbook’, ‘ALM and Risk from the Financial Markets’ Perspective’,  ‘Operations Handbook for the Financial Markets Professional’ and ‘Financial Markets, a Manual’. Most of these books are published by Financial Markets Books, the in-house publisher of The Financial Markets Academy.















Natasja is associate of Cash Dynamics and director of Kapitein Xpand Trainingen. Natasja is a labour- and organization psychologist and has more than fifteen years experience in providing personal training and coaching in the field of personal development-, communication- and presentation skills.

Within Cash Dynamics she is involved in the development of training programs from a training and personal development perspective as well as in personal coaching.
